About This Beta Release

The EPR Fee Calculator and the Recyclability Assessment Tool are developed by CIRCPACK to build on the comprehensive data we maintain through our Recycling Intelligence platform and our certification work. These tools are meant to make that knowledge accessible and to help users understand recyclability in a practical, end-to-end way, from operational realities on the ground, to alignment with the PPWR, to estimated total cost of goods and EPR fees.

Because these tools are in early beta, this release is primarily focused on the visuals, user experience, and overall structure of the tools. The calculation logic, datasets, and assumptions are still being built out and validated, and some outputs may therefore be incomplete or change significantly in later versions. You may notice areas that need clarification or improvement in how information is displayed or flows through the tools. Your feedback is especially important at this stage: if anything looks confusing, inconsistent, or difficult to interpret, please tell us so we can strengthen the experience before finalizing the underlying calculations.

For now, please treat all results as beta and directional. Any calculated values should be considered illustrative only and not relied on for external reporting, formal declarations, submissions, or business-critical decisions. The validated calculation models will be introduced in upcoming releases, and we will clearly communicate when figures are ready for authoritative use.
